Maju excels at Malaysia HR Awards 2010. 20-07-2010 Maju Holdings Sdn Bhd recently garnered the Silver Medal award at the 10th Malaysia HR Awards 2010 under the category of HR Excellence. It was Maju’s first ever participation in the event and also first ever HR award. Held on the evening of 20 July 2010 at Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa, the awards presentation ceremony was graced by the Minister of Human Resources, Y.B. Datuk Dr. S. Subramaniam. The Malaysia HR Awards is a yearly event organized by the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM) since 1999 under the patronage of the Human Resources Minister of Malaysia and in partnership with Jobstreet.com. The objectives of the awards are to raise awareness of human resources management in the business community and to encourage and to raise standards and overall competence of human resource community in their pursuit of excellence. It is also to recognize human resource leaders for their contributions to the growth and success of their organizations. Winning organizations vying for the awards had to go through three tough selection processes before finally emerging as winners in their respective categories. Receiving the award for Maju from the Minister of Human resources were GMD of Maju Group, Mr. Amro Al Khadra and Group HRA Director Dato’ Norashikin Ismail. “this achievement is truly the result of setting high goals and setting your mind and team spirit to achieve these goals, I know this can be replicated throughout. This is truly an event to be registered in Maju’s history books. Next year we go for GOLD!” quipped Mr. Amro, proud of the efforts and support of the employees and management of Maju Holdings Group of Companies. |
