• It is the policy of Maju Holdings Sdn Bhd (Construction Division) to recognize the Laws of Malaysia, and in particular the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994. The Safety and Health Policy aims to achieve the highest degree of excellence in safety and health matters.
• The primary concern of Maju Holdings Sdn Bhd (Construction Division) is to conduct their activities in such a way that the safety and health of the employees and others that may be affected are properly safeguarded.
• In pursuance to this policy, Maju Holdings Sdn Bhd (Construction Division) aims to ensure that safe and healthy working environment is maintained, whilst striving for productivity and efficiency in meeting our objectives. Continuous positive example and committed support by all levels of organization leading to an accident free work place.
• Application of risk control measures to avoid hazards and accidents on all working conditions and practices conducted by the employees. Provisions of appropriate formal, informal education and training program for all employees to establish work procedures and adherence to the rules and regulations of its operations and activities.
• Application of sound engineering practices in design, installation and maintenance of equipment. To maintain an effective system for accident reporting and ensure investigation and recording procedures are implemented. Continuous review of the health and safety performance and regular auditing of all aspects of it's operations. To develop and execute contingency plans to deal with possible emergency and adverse impact to employees as well as general public.
• The employees are an important integral part of the safety and health program; therefore they shall participate in the identification and elimination of any impediments to the achievement of these policy objectives.
