Our dedicated Corporate Social Responsibility Program (CSR) have been thoughtfully and carefully envisioned to reach out and benefit the masses via the following four pillars that have always been near and dear to our hearts.

Education

We are committed to harvest and nurture talented young Malaysians to pursue their academic excellence and dreams.

MEX Participated In the Putrajaya Career Carnival.

On 27 till 29 June 2011, in conjunction with the 1 Million Youth gathering 2011, Maju Expressway (MEX) ran a booth at the event, held at the Ministry of Youth & Sports Building, Precinct 4, Putrajaya. The purpose of the exhibition was to offer job opportunities to youths. During the exhibition, MEX’s representatives handed over a copy of the MEX Coffee table book to the Honourable Minister of Human Resources, Datuk Dr. S Subramaniam. In addition, pamphlets on road safety, car stickers and information on job vacancies were also distributed. A total of 42 people were present at the interviews conducted.

Environment

We are continuously promoting ways to protect and conserve our precious green heritage by means of recycling, cutting costs and cultivating more earth friendly living habits.

Community

We are focused on using our expertise and resources to bring on the winds o change that will benefit the community economically and socially.

MASJID TEMOYONG, LANGKAWI, KEDAH
Giving back and prospering the community have always been integral parts of the Maju Group Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. A shining example of these is the construction of the Masjid Al-Ihsan Temoyong, Langkawi by Maju Holdings Sdn Bhd.

Located 5 minutes away from Pantai Cenang, the mosque is one of the largest in Langkawi and was completed in less than a year. The mosque has a built up area of over 2000 square metres and the prayer hall is able to accommodate 2000 people at a time. The mosque was officially opened by former Prime Minister Tun Mahathir Mohamed on 4 September 2009.

During the opening ceremony Tun Mahathir congratulated the Group Executive Chairman of Maju Group, Tan Sri Abu Sahid Mohamed for being able to deliver the mosque before the Aidil Fitri celebration.

Safety

We take this responsibility seriously to ensure the safety and tranquility of our community and the nation as a whole is maintained and preserved.

MEX encourages road users to drive safely by following the speed limit of 90 km/h.
